The body of an 8-year-old boy who was on a boat with his grandfather and uncle when it went over a spillway was recovered Thursday from a creek, authorities said.

The recovery came more than a week after the accident. Kalin Hunter was found below the 25-foot spillway and about 160 yards south of where the adults' bodies were found, said commander Duane Pitchford of the Illinois Conservation Police.
