    Plaintiffs' lawyer Walter Bush argued at a hearing Friday in Atlanta for a temporary restraining order to keep the Georgia Department of Agriculture from renewing licenses for animal shelters that use gas chambers in violation of state law.

      I don't know why there have to be exceptions. Just because you had a gas chamber before the law was passed in 1990 doesn't mean that it is less cruel today. Also, the animal doesn't care if there are more or less than 25,000 people in the county!
