No matter which side you come down on the most important thing is that we're having a raging disagreement!

You would think that the Red Cross could work out a deal with; say, Citgo to provide so many Official Red Cross First Aid Kits(The really nice ones) for so many vouchers for free gas; to encourage the poor to donate thier most valuable resource and gain enough gas for a week of errand running.

It could work; except for the fact that these greedheads CAN'T do a damned thing for the poor; UNLESS it benefits the rich 90% more than the poor get.

            Well, I'll be darned!

That explains why the soldier morale is down. It's because they don't know how much oil the Americans will get from their blood. They were told that we are there to avenge 9/11, kick Saddam's keister, and provide Iraqis with freedom. While revenge, as well as good ass-kicking are nice, and we all can feel warm and fuzzy about Iraqis being free, like they are right now, but that's not enough to keep morale up for 4 long years.

Now if US government actually explained the soldiers how many millions of barrels of cheap oil and how many SUVs with shiny big rims Americans will be able to afford, then the soldiers would feel much better about fighting since they'll know what they are fighting for. I'm sure then they'll have just as much resolve as any suicide bomber out there.
