Every now and then, you come across a bit of entertainment news that makes you go, "Huh?" That was my reaction last week when I read that Carol Burnett is suing Fox TV's Family Guy

sounds like the old gal needs the $ too bad, she used to be SO funny back in the day.

She has not lost her sense of humor; nor has she lost her sense of good taste. I wouldn't want anything remotely connected to me to be represented on a show like Family Guy. I feel like I need to take a shower after seeing one of their commercials. Contemporary comedy seems to be on quest to see just how far a decent into the depths of depravity it can make. Burnett obviously didn't care to make that trip.

Carol Burnette has earned the right to be left alone by sleaze peddlers such as the writers of "The Family Guy." Ms. Burnette demonstrated long ago that she understood and appreciated adult humor. The problem with "The Family Guy" is that it is far too juvenile in its concept and execution.

I don't see why it's such a big deal, family guy, south park they are meant to be humorous and wasn't the Caroll Burnett show all about humor. I think her problem is that she just wants $$ and attention.

It was a parody, yes? Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't that exempt it from the claims of copyright infringment? Please, correct me if I'm wrong. Regardless of her opinion of the show, this lawsuit is ridiculously silly.

Family guy is hands down the funniest show on T.V. I cant believe Carol Burnette. she should be happy to actually be remembered. I thought she was dead myself. maybe it was her sense of humor I was thinking about.
