Shariah in Minnesota? »

Posted by: stephen-johnson 2 years, 9 months ago

By Katherine Kersten - The land of 10,000 lakes and that welcoming attitude we call "Minnesota Nice"--is becoming a window on America's potential future. Here in Minneapolis, one of the nation's most livable cities, hard-line Muslim activists are injecting an element that is anything but nice.

It's interesting; I think we should be doing a better job of integrating these people into society than allowing them to segregate themselves...of course, if you did that, you'd have to apply the same rules of integration to everyone else, including home schooled fundamentalist Christians and Chassidic Jews, or anyone else who soesn't want to participate in the greater polity.

Either they begin to comform to our laws, and customs or return to where you came from. We cannot change our way of life so they can impose theirs. This is our country and our way is the way they had better conform to. Any time the cabbies choose to deny a person a ride in his cab he had better find another job. If they can't accept a woman not wearing a veil, go back to your own country! The real shame here is not so much their actions, but our giving in to them!

This situation bodes ill for all Americans. This is an early attempt at instilling Sharia law and justice on us. They have no interest in assimilation, their interest is in domination.

The solution is pretty easy... you fire people that refuse to do their job. You can bet that stores will now ask before hiring whether anyone has an objection to doing any part of the job. Certainly a checker has chosen the wrong place to work if she/he won't touch pork products and they work in a friggin market. Cab drivers? Go independent, but don't work for me. Not difficult, and I doubt even the union would argue about it.

Your right to freedom of religion stops at my right to freedom FROM religion.

Where is the licencing commission? Are there no rules or regulations available. Even if you own your own cab you should not have the right to discriminate against secular passengers. Welcome to our country, please treat it and us with respect. Don't move here with a view to change our society to fit your beliefs. We can accomodate all beliefs and not offend anyone. Muslims should do the same or is there a hint of intolerance for anything and everything non-mulim?

This is the kind of thing that happens when people see we now only seem to care to make sure about inclusion, so that we cater to everyone but don't try to integrate them into the way of life we have previously enjoyed in the US. I'm sure I'm one of the few that see's all of the work and mondy that goes making sure every government office in this english speaking country, and much of what is printed has to also be in spanish, rather than make it harder for them to live here unless they are willing to learn english, is at the root of what this story is about, How did these Muslins get the idea that we in the US would bend over backwards to accomidate them while they try to slowly take over here, now this is the diplomatic way to win a war and take over a country without firing a shot, get the people of the US to just give you everything you want when you come here, change their way of life to suit you, and get the liberals to help you do it, not realizing when it happens, they'll be

((and those are the things that the foudning fathers liked enough to write down in their constitution. contrarily there is no mention in the constitution of taxi cabs and pork.))

All right, that will be enough of that, no more comdey, I'm not supposed to end up laughing when I'm trying to argue with you. lol

What a surprise it will be for everyone when they find out that many recent Muslim immigrants already put Sharia Law ahead of the laws of the country, states, counties, and yes, municipalities. As an example: On a recent episode of "Cops", a man was arrested for domestic assault. He went along peacefully enough, very little resistance. However, he was adamant in vocalising his innocense. His defense for beating his wife? "It is allowed under law!" "She is not good wife, so it is allowed!". Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
