March 26, 2007, 11:36 a.m.This is a nonsense article. This has no real information about crops or GM-based crops in India -- instead it is about some sematic issues with whether or not Indian farmers asked for GM Cotton Seed over the regular cotton seed. The author refers to a supposed "breakdown" in the Indian cotton farming system but since the word "breakdown" is always in quotes, and there is no substantiating evidence to support the title of the article all you can do is call this bogus. DO NO EVIL, you are smarter than this -- you usually post really interesting and provactive articles. Why did you post this piece of crap? Come on, you have a good eye for the news, but this isn't news. Don't throw out your reputation over garbage like this.

March 26, 2007, 6:37 p.m.This is junk opinion. Where are the facts. GM modified cotton is not going to destroy traditional farming. Too many mouths to feed is the problem. All poor countries are the same, a full belly is the primary cause of an erection and 9 months later, another mouth to feed.
