Two men were sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday for raping a 14-year-old girl while filming parts of the nearly seven-hour attack.

The girl, who didn't report the rape for two weeks after the February 2006 attack, missed a school bus and called one of the suspects for a ride. Hardy and Rice picked her up and took her to an apartment, where Rice raped her, prosecutors said.
The girl left, but the three suspects picked her up again and took her back to the apartment, where all three raped her while filming some of the attack, prosecutors said.
Police found the video, which shows the men raping and threatening the girl while she repeatedly says, "No."
"They tormented and humiliated her," prosecutor Lori DiGiosia said.

That is despicable. To think I have an unbelievably mouthy, know it all 14 year old makes me shudder to think how much she has no clue about. God help us all.
I can't believe they ONLY got 10 years for that.

This is ridiculuous. I can't wait until we adopt better laws for things such as rape, especially in a case as horrible as this one. Like Amel Larrieux once said, "Crimes against little ones are punished with little laws." I'm so disgusted with our judicial right now, it's unfathomable.

The sentence seems to be missing a zero. Additionally, what's this BS?
"Defense attorneys said their clients were not as bad as what was portrayed on the videotape."
Err..not as bad? The very fact that you've raped someone makes you a very horrible individual.

This just makes me sick! Ten lousy years? That's it? I'd be in prison for life if that were my daughter.

So they were just acting like bad boys on the video...
Good thing that they were not in Texas with the new law that has just been signed..
It would probably be a funeral instead of prison...
