Interesting. Some people I know have gotten some 'inspiration' from Scientology, but most either ignore it or think of it as just another cult.

I'm not sure what I believe about them, but I tend to lean toward the latter group.

Few are aware that before the writing of Dianetics and the establishment of Scientology L. Ron Hubbard was deeply involved in a very dark form of witchcraft called Majick in an organization called the OTO. In 1946 he conducted a two month long ritual together with Jack Parsons, a rocket scientist who was partially responsible for the location and founding of Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasadena, California. This "sex magic" and gnostic ritual was for the purpose of involking the physical manifestation of the Goddess Babalon. Shortly after that Hubbard ran off with Parsons wife and most of his money. Hubbard according to his son continued to use sex magic for many years after and carried out an abuse of many of the young ladies trapped in the slavery of Scientology by mentally and physically abusing them in a practice that his son called "soul cracking". If you search you can find the documentation of everything printed here.

You need only look at the antics of Tom Cruise to decide on the validity of Scientology. I hear the expense to the members is astronomical.

Most of the city of Clearwater, FL is owned by the scientologists. It's very creepy walking down town, and none to pleasant either. They've turned some of the buildings into dorms for the members that have given ALL to be scientologists.

The more I read, the more I have come to dislike the "religion." The sad part is, I didn't know a dead guy could write books. I've been seeing a new L. Ron Hubbard book about once a year now since I can remember. I didn't even know he was dead.
