    Of course, that's what's done in the medical community with ailments that can't be helped -- like thorazine plus morphine to hallucinate through the last 3 months of your terminal illness.

    Or mixed tranquilizers and sedatives to definitely end the chronic depression of someone like Anna Nicole Smith.

    Or chemotherapy to poison the cancer just short of killing the person, perhaps, regardless of whatever other damage or hastened aging might occur.

      Sedatives are merely the instrument of choice. It's really the doctors who are killing Alzheimer's patients.

        If you are the spouse of an alzheimers or stroke patient the drs do not want to prescribe pills and they tell the spouse to deal with it.

        Just doesn't seem fair.

        How can they really prove the people would have lived 6 months longer?
