STONERS
April 2, 2007, 12:04 a.m."The only way I could get by him was to wreck him, but he's my teammate and I tell you what, there's going to be some interesting racing going forward because he blocked me really bad," Gordon said. "I thought I had a chance at him a couple times, but he shut the door on me pretty good. ... He did exactly what he should have done."
Which doesn't mean the four-time series champion liked it at all.

April 2, 2007, 12:12 p.m.I have followed Nascar since 1963.
My favorite tracks are the little paper clip shaped ones: Bristol, Martinsville and Richmond. These tracks are so short that the leader has to often lap slower traffic. This introduces an additional element that is not as often present at Daytona or Tally.
Anyone ever see a night race at Bristol?

April 2, 2007, 5:16 p.m.Yesterdays race was a real good one. We saw what two teammates should do for a race to the finish line. Unlike what happened to Jimmy the year before with a teammate who did not mind that he had to wreck him to win. You can tell that Jeff was not happy that Jimmy blocked him the way he did. But it is exactly what Jeff would have done. He is a master at the block along with Tony Stewart.
He was upset cause he thought his car was better. But Jimmy is Jeff's protege so it is no wonder that Jimmy was able to block him the way he did.
But I still hate the CoT, the Car of Tomorrow. It still looks like a Matchbox Car. And I like how so many people do not realize that everything you have on your car now. That technology came from Guys racing around a track in a circle. You morons need to do some more reading of what NASCAR has done for your car.
