Rosie is abrasive in her approach and i think that Barbara Walters made a grave mistake when she supported the firing of Star Jones in favor of hiring Rosie. She is loud and crass, and lacks taste!

She's lacking in a lot more than the knowledge of how to melt steel.

Rosie should be commended for speaking out. Most Americans are afraid to speak out and ask questions, whether they have supporting evidence is not determined. What course is our country on when people are afraid to speak their mind?

How can Rosie be commended when she talks something she has no knowledge about. She lies about 911 but the worst part of it is that she believes in her own lies. What an idiot.

Rosie appears to represent these mistruths and lies to help her show. Not Barbara Walter's show, but "her show." Based on her negative comments and perceived negative self-image, Rosie continues to show her disatisfaction in her personal appearance, her husky, manly looks and her feminine self-image regularly. Considering the frequency of these events, Rosie may be evidencing bi-polar disorder, or severe depression, warranting intervention.

I find it incredible that an entertainer with notarity as a "jester," would be considered space for comments, after the incredulous statements she made. I suspect these latest comments are in response to some personal downturn in her relationship with her female partner. I suggest that she chooses to create these inflamatory and negative comments as a coping mechanism toward a personal desire for recognition, regardless of their substance or accuracy.

Should Barbara Walters ever decide to remove this "jester" from the show, I believe we would soon see an obituary about her suicide. The self-destructive comments, and obivious inaccuracies are demonstrating personal anger towards herself, and at an exceptionally high level! I suggest she be placed on a suicide watch soon. I hope she has some friends somewhere that can help her. She should be removed from T.V. long enough to detoxify her self-image and help her to re-enter society with greater stability.

I am constantly amazed at the types of people that are on this board. I am getting the feeling that they are in general terms, anti-bush anti-christian far left idiots. I don't mind the anti-bust anti-christian or even far left part, its the idiots that are starting to annoy me.

A while back I saw a YouTube video of Silverstein (sp?), the owner of the WTC complex, admitting that building 7 was intentionally demolished. I would try to look up the link for y'all, but my satellite connection isn't working right now, so I'm doing the dial-up modem thing--kinda like reading fine print by candlelight....

Again no one has actually posted articles of another building getting hitten by a plane and falling within the same hour. Please someone post something. Here are some links of other buildings getting hitten by planes, burning, and not falling. Even the Empire State Building got hit by a B-52 bomber and didn't fall. The last link is a chronology of recent skyscraper tragedies, notice the only dates that say the building collapsed were 9/11/01

After reading the article and some of the comments here, I can only conclude two things: either 1)some people's reading comprehension is terribly flawed or 2)the Popular Mechanics magazine is controlled by Bush.

I think I'll put more credence in the first possibility.

According to Rosie's "theory" the US Government knew that a group of Arab terrorist were going to hijack planes and fly them into WTC1 and 2. To cover up the Enron scandal, they rigged WTC7 to collapse too. The thousands of people who would have had to be complicit in such a conspiracy have never broken their silence.

And yet, the whole intent of this, protecting Enron, failed.

So we have a bunch of evil geniuses who are simultaneously incompetent idiots. Not likely.

Is it likely that 19 people (would have been 20)from the middle east(even before 9/11 we were weary of them) would come to the U.S. get flying lessons and then successfully takeover 4 planes on the same day with box cutters and plastic knives. So either it was an inside job or the passengers on 3 of those planes just stepped aside and let the "terrorist" takeover.

Well I certainly didn't need any backing from Popular Mechanics to know that Rosie is a moron on her best day. She has one of those mouths that can run and run w/out thinking or any effort. I equate her IQ w/that of Natalie Maines. Yes, Rosie would make a good blonde.

I am not a great fan of your current administration, but I doubt that it was directly involved with the twin towers event, they may be responsible because of ingnoring the threat but otherwise don't think so. As for damage to tower 7 would of liked to have seen more pictures from some one else besides NYPD. Damage from the other towers collapsing is bound to cause collateal damage but to what extent. Hope the final results are not a classified doucument because of national security.

At least half the members who sat on the 9-11 commission

believe they were misled and a new investigation is needed.

Popular Mechanics seems to be one of few sourses the stand by the offical story, While most major Universities believe there are problems with the official story. Gag orders put on Fire and Police personal and city engineers who worked at the Trade Center certainly points to cover=up.

People who fear a new investigation to uncover the truth, Where ever it leads, probable have something to hide.

If you don't respect what a person is saying, at least respect their right to say it. Only way I listen to Rosey is if I want to have a laugh, and it's not the stand-uo comedy type, but the ramblings of a crazy that is funny in a twisted way. I feel it's a good some people have the nerve or courage (depending on what the subject is) to stand up and question things, ok but after they find the fact..or are shown the facts, not to let that go and just attatch themselves to an idea..that's when the crazy fun starts. I don't need to say things to discredit them, they do a good job of that themselves. And no needs to attack someones appearance, that just discredits your opinion. If the most beautiful person in the world was spouting off the same things as she was, it would be the SAME thing...or are there some of you who would believe someone very beautiful??
