    How utterly wrong.

You know we leave this world the same way we came in.

With nothing. The only thing we can do of real value

is to make it better (or at least try not to make it worse) for those who are here with us now and those who will come after us. People in the U.S. complain often about their tax dollars being wasted on ineffective aid. believing huge percentages of their incomes are going overseas and doing little good. The truth is humanitarian foreign aid provided by the U.S. government amounts to less than 1 percent of the federal budget.(.06%) That is only a fraction of what people think is spent. Among the top 21 industrialized nations, the U.S. ranks last in terms of the percentage of gross national product spent on humanitarian foreign aid. By contrast Look at the cost of the War in human terms and fiscal terms. Last I heard 52% of the budget excluding the "special funding and shadow ops.

How has the US have anything to do with this? What about Japan, Iran, Pakastian, Russia? Why the USA. The region hates the USA but when they need money right to the the USA. Why waste our money on a future suicide bomber?

What's the point? a poor man has a sick son - he tries to get mendical aid - gets caught up in international activities - so? - happens all the time right here in the US the working poor can't get help when they need it so why should I worry about some guy with a tough life in a tough area?

Feel sorry for him? Help someone here
