Riigghhtt ... Bush criticizes Congress for going on vacation just before HE goes on vacation ... what a fine example of his consistent hypocrisy.

Bush is on record as taking the most vacation days of ANY President in the history of this country. He beat out Ronald Reagan, the previous record-holder.

So, the Dems, jack up the taxes, add lots of new pork for their special interests, then go on vacay! That is not new, they been doing that for decades! The only difference is they now have a President holding them accountable to the majority of Americans they represent. The House leadership should stop taking paid vacations to Syria and help us with the tax-and-spend liberals in Congress. They should be helping us win the war instead of trying to save money by not supporting the troops. Oh yeah, the libs could say they had to have the Billions of pork dollars in with their demand to have the military retreat from Iraq, but we know it is their cowardice in action. Bush has reflected over and over again on how unreasonable the libs in Congress are. I suggest you can work from Crawford or Camp David, but congress can't work in their home districts. They need to be in Washington!
