Yaaaay!!! Another one bites the dust. No court can uphold a ban. Homosexual couples win another battle towards equality!

The states keep approaching civil unions as a compromise. As a piecemeal approach, they are acceptable for now, but they still set up a separate but equal situation. I am happy for my neighbors in New Hampshire, and hope their Senate passes the civil unions bill with all due speed.

I have asked many times, but can't seem to get answer. Is a civil union the same as the civil ceremony that me and my wife had, you know getting married by the Justis of the peace? How are some states differating between civil union, and marriage, when I fill out an official document ( even though I was married in a civil ceremony) I check married ( it always seem the right choice given single, divorced, widowed, or married)

California just passed a bill today! AB43 Gender Neutral Marriage. That is if the Govenator does not veto it. It is just a matter of time. Civil unions are separate but NOT equal but we can take that for now. BUT, I do not think we should settle for scraps.
