Conn. Girl Goes 2 Years Without Eating, Drinking »

After 14 operations and two years without food or drink, 20-year-old Amy Oestreicher came to Mt. Sinai with her parents Thursday with high hopes. Those high hopes include living a normal life so she can pursue her hobbies of singing and dancing, but more importantly -- and at least for right now -- she simply wants to eat and drink again.

Poor kid! Oh my god! I hope the doctor gives her the okay to eat soon. It broke my heart when she said "I'm really hungry."

My thoughts go out to her and her family. What an ordeal to go through!! It will take some time and practice but it will be worth it to eat again. That first bite will be the best tasting food ever!!

it's not physiollogically possible to go without feeding and hydrating the human body.
a peron doing such will surely die.. a no brainer.
