April 8, 2007, 12:04 p.m.If you seriously think that it is not a bad thing, then you have no concept of constitutional rights and government limitations in this country.
There's TIA, Carnivore, and a few others that are all being linked and mined by our government in the name of security. The FBI and the Dept of Homeland Defense can now walk into any business and demand all their records, without a warrant, to add to the Government data bases.
They have installed devices at most major phone companies to record all phone number exchanges (to and from numbers). They claim that they are not recording conversations, just the numbers. HMMM.
Google resisted their efforts to force them to record and turn over records of all google searches made on the internet.
As Walden says below, "Be afraid, be very afraid." Big brother is watching and listening.

April 8, 2007, 1:14 p.m.This is truly scary. You must remember that Poindexter was involved in selling arms to terrorists in Reagan's administration. We never found out all the dirty details of Iran-Contra because George Herbert Walker Bush pardoned everyone involved on Christmas eve 1992, ending an ongoing investigation that would no doubt have implicated Bush himself. These people have no morals or ethics. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? Now his son is in charge, and they can resume their evil plans. No wonder they were so ******ed off when Clinton won in '92. He put their plans on hold for 8 years. No good can come from this.
