Beau hates baths so much he won't even enter the bathroom, if you stand in the bathroom and call him he runs and hides under the bed.
WAY back as far as he can get.
He doesn't come out.
You have to crawl in and grab him and pull him out.
Then he looks very dejected. Who's a big dog now?

Nelly loves showers. She even lays on her back and lets you wash her tummy. She even has a toy duck to play with.

Boy! Those two characters were real blockheads ;-)
...but my two adorable little prized parakeets: "Tony" & "Maria"..
Love it when I put them over the kitchen sink and give them nice tepid water, especially during the hot summer.

My dog seems to like baths, I think she likes being able to bark and blow bubbles at the same time.

Hilarious cartoon. The dead dog routine was ALMOST enough to win the day. Now my pet, Spoony the cat (see avatar), HATES baths. She loves fish, but she wouldn't be stupid enough to jump up and grab one if a tub of water was nearby.

All you had to do was turn the water on and my dogs would be jumping in and out . You had better be ready for THE bath with them...Aaaahhh, I miss my dogs,Bosco,Tia, Lil Red,and Corky boy...All border collies..only have two left!

Yeah, my dog LOVES a bath or a shower. Any grooming - clipping his nails, cleaning his ears, getting brushed & bathed - he loves it (like a king) and he really appreciates it.

All of the dogs I have prefer to be scrufty. I admire animals who enjoy getting their hair combed and a bath.
My scottie will not take a bath unless I get into the shower with him. He still keeps his tail down. I always see him rolling in the dirt a couple of days later. I think they do not like to smell sweet because of the other dogs. If they cannot smell their doggie smell they get upset.
My scottie seems to sucrete an oil and grow thick hair. That is because he runs hot and loves the cold.
