Gary Cass, executive director of the Center for Reclaiming America for Christ, writes that those who opposed Gen. Peter Pace's remarks that homosexual acts are immoral are "neo-pagan atheistic radicals" ["Gen. Pace expressed the wisdom of the ages," March 30].

the Center for Reclaiming America for Christ is misnamed. Was America ever "claimed for Christ"?

You got a better chance of seeing Jesus than seeing America reclaimed for Christ.By the way, when exactly WAS the last time it was claimed?

I am far more offended by these modern-day Pharisees than I am by anything in the gay/lesbian agenda.

But I also believe that the government has no business regulating (i.e., taxing) marriage. At most, it is contract law. Even when that means the government never had any business insisting that the Mormons abandon polygamy. What have we ever gained by letting any government meddle in private behavior?

Furthermore, when do you suppose these 'Christian' fundalmentisists and 'evangelicals' will get around to reading the New Testament? Any day now I expect them to be insisting on the public stoning of everyone wearing cotton/polyester blend T-shirts.

These people from the Center for Reclaiming America for Christ need to get a grip. There are a lot of other religions, beliefs and ideas in the world. Theirs is but one of them and they have no freaking right to think they should be in charge of anything but their own souls. I am so tired of these proselytizing fools that seem to feel they have the right to jam their beliefs down everyone else's throats. Muslims, Jews, Christians, Bhuddists, Taoists, Druids, Pagans, Shintoists and all the rest are all approaches to the divine. They should be paying attention to their very own spiritual life and leave the rest of us alone to worship as we please.

Gary Cass is an a$$hat. You can't be both a neo-pagan and an atheist.

I have never seen or heard of a Christian forceing anyone to believe anything. But I have heard some defend their faith from fools that attack them and their belief like some of you fools. If you have a beef with Christians thats your problem, keep it to your self.
