Tax Scam Uses IRS' Free File Program »
Posted by: TechnologyExpert 2 years, 6 months agoThe Internal Revenue Service on Friday warned of Internet scam artists trying to obtain people's bank account numbers and other information by posing as a participant in a program offering free tax preparation software to low- and middle-income taxpayers.

I just wonder how many people got scammed before the government posted this warning because someone had to complain about not getting their refund before it was discovered.
