Russia starts building first floating nuclear power plant »
Posted by: pagey 2 years, 8 months agoRussia began construction of the world's first floating nuclear power plant on Sunday. The plant will be aboard a barge where two reactors will be manned by less than 60 crew. The 300-million-U.S. dollar project is expected to be completed in 2010, the Itar-Tass news agency reported.

April 17, 2007, 1:50 a.m.Why do I get the feeling this might not be a good idea? (a country with a bad track record with nuclear power safety, now floating the nuclear power plants on the ocean!) The variety of "things that could go wrong"...!
