Such an awful tragedy. My thoughts go out to all the victims and thier families. Right now their saying several dozen people are being treated for injuries. I will never understand why anyone feels the need to show such hate.

Shooter was Chinese exchange student, April 16 1989 was the first day of protests in Tiananmen Square, which led to the deaths of those Chinese collage students!!

Still not an excuse. This guy wasn't going to accomplish any extra awareness for what went on in Tiananmen Square by shooting a bunch of innocent kids on the same day 18 years later. He was a quack, and if he hadn't shot himself, I would have been happy to volunteer.
