Articles of Impeachment To Be Filed On Cheney »

Posted by: Aidenag 2 years, 8 months ago

Looks like he's reached his boiling point. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, the most liberal of the Democratic presidential candidates in the primary field, declared in a letter sent to his Democratic House colleagues this morning that he plans to file articles of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney.

I somehow doubt they'll be able to get a voting majority, but I could be wrong. At least Mr. Cheney will know how unpopular he is, and even though he oesn't care, the people in the House whop vote against impeachment will be on notice in the '08 elections. They'll easily be tied into supporting a "bad governance, poor strategy" official.

It's about time! Thank you for posting the good news, Aidenag! Oh, to have that guy under oath. Is it possible we could have him sent to Gitmo? Will he, pretty please lose his pension, etc?

Right now this has been put on hold, but I can't wait to see how it unfolds. Maybe with all his health problem, Dick cheney will just die, which will be faster and more effective than impeachment. Impeachment is great, but him dying painfully with the memory of everyone hating him- PRICELESS

More happy shouts of glee from the Far Out Left. Oh what joy: We get to watch yet another Democrat Party witch hunt. But it won't happen the way that like. There's a reason that the Demolition Party didn't impeach Bush: They simply don't have a case. They never did.

The was war not about oil. Al Quaida has always been on good terms with Saddam. Iraq was sponsoring terrorists. And last, but certainly not least, Bush did not LIE.

After Cheny is impeached, and in prison, we can impeach Bush,,and put him in prison too...Cheny made secret deals with our oil companys, and Bush made secret deals with the Saudis, and the mexicans--impeach them, and try them both for treason, crimes against this country...then we should ---NEVER, EVER- RE ELECT ANY POLITICIAN...

                                    You speak the truth...

Sadly, Democrats don't care about the truth.

Even when there is more than ample evidence that the Iraqi military constructed the bombs that blew up the US embassies in Kenyan and Tanzania in 1998.

And the yellow cake incident in Niger did happen. The Senate and Washington Post proved that Joe Wilson lied.

But again, it is not about the truth. It is about politics and Democratic ambition in spite of their incompetence in the area of foreign relations.

That poor little twerp will be lucky if even his fellow Democrats will pass a non-binding resolution to read his goofy memo! Meanwhile, back at the asylum, all of the Bush-hating loons will be having their masturbatory moments with other like-minded loons, typing the word - IMPEACH - 100 times on the message boards! Good on Dennis Kucinich, it's time someone made a statement, and whether or not they get the amount of votes they need, at least Cheney will know what the people of the USA think of him. Does he care? HECK NO!!

However the repubs in Congress who don't support this will be targeted in the next election. They will be in a no win situation if this comes to fruition!!

President Cheney will probably start a couple more wars before 2008 so he can say you can't impeach a warring President. Maybe the real Secretary of State, Nancy Pelosi, will have made peace with the Middle East by then and defused the whole situation. In a country where the majority of the population believe Cheney had much to do with 9-1-1, it's sort of a race to the finish isn't it? The finish of freedom in America amd the manipulation of the people. The Repugnicans are finished and the only thing they can do by 2008 is to unleash the Army on the people ... it remains to be seen whether the Army WILL turn on Americans. Praise be, the right to bear arms. Iraq might seem idyllic if it ever gets going in America.

PS: I think McCain is too old to be shooting anyone.
