IOWA once again takes the lead on controlling politicians....

They decided in the heart of the Corn Belt to speak to politicians in the only language that they truely understand..

      POWER.

It is time they were reminded who they truely work for,and realise there will now be consequences for thier actions and

      inactions.

I think taking a politician at their word may be expecting a little to much.

I like the bit about Giuliani.

Given the choice of invading a country with an army or a bunch of NYC cab drivers, I'd go for the cabbies. They'd get the job done, wouldn't stand for any baloney from anybody, and regular people would end up running the joint because the rich and would-be-dictating-powerful wouldn't be able to move around the country. And we would actually know what it cost - you can be sure they wouldn't be throwing around sacks of money by the billions.

So maybe we should find a cabbie to be a candidate. I'd feel a lot better with somebody in the White who knew how to earn money and work long hours to give good service (and also had a sense of direction) ... rather than the one we have, who only knows how to spend money, can't find anything on the map unless he is going to run it over, and sure as heck hasn't clue how to work hard.

            ;-)

Had the good folks of Iowa thought about it they could have taken all that 'hot air' from those pompas bloviating wind bag politicians, bottled it and used it to heat their homes for the next 100 years. Politicians are like fish and house guests after 3 days they all stink!!!!!

Any chance we can get Iowa to just keep 'em?
