White House insiders tell CNN that Attorney General Alberto Gonzales hurt himself during testimony before a Senate committee Thursday on the firing of eight U.S. attorneys. The sources told White House correspondent Suzanne Malveaux that two senior level White House aides who heard the testimony described Gonzales as "going down in flames"

There was a time when someone like Gonzales would have resigned weeks ago, especially when his lie came out. Democrats must be in shock, trying to deal with crazy people who act like lying, 'forgetting' every act of their office, & facts mean NOTHING. How frustrating that has to be. Who would have thought we would reach such a time, when up is down, black is white, bad is good, lies are no big deal, & political extremists would just blatantly ignore the foundations of good government. It's like they're sticking their tongues out saying 'nah nah nah nah nah nah.' I know what I did when my children pulled that crap. Hopefully democrats will wake up and DO SOMETHING with these out of control children.

All the theatrics is to distract from the real issues. Not finding bin Laden, the sullen Iraqi Occupation, Gas prices, etc...are all push on the back burners in lieu of Gonzales' courtroom antics.
