I love that show on Discovery, "Dirty Jobs". The host is great! (that chicken sexer thing was one job he did)

The worst job I had involved changing diapers and bathing adults. They are all humble then, get them in the kitchen and they throw forks at ya!

As a former private investigator, one of my routines was to go "dumpster diving." What it is, is that I had to go to a dumpster loaded with garbage, junk,& other debris, fight rats, and seek out documents that had certain records like phone bills, memo sheets, & dossiere's, etc, and if by chance if they were shredded. I had to go to my office and piece them back together again!

If not that. I usually got beaten up by bad guys, or irate husbands whom I've caught cheating on my client's with their "concubines" with my surveillance equipment, If, and when they've spotted me on rare occassions.

                  ....fun ain't it?

I don't think these are all that unusual. I have a friend who's job it is to set fires. He works at NIST and they set up cameras and torch a building to see how it is going to burn. Now that sounds like fun. BTW, he is an Eagle Scout.

As a summer job in college I worked at a leather factory. I worked on a machine that added the "leather smell" to the leather. Leather does not have a scent on its own. That smell that everyone thinks of as leather is mostly made from a type of fish oil. The weird thing was everyone who worked on that machine had strong shiny fingernails, the oily mix was great for nails.
