April 22, 2007, 11:22 a.m.If the 3rd Party ink vendors can get their cartridge quality up, they'll have my business. The wasted gas of driving to the store replace a cartridge that doesn't work makes it not worth the savings at this point.

April 22, 2007, 11:32 a.m.I use a lot of ink in my business and it has to be good. I have tried some of the inks mentioned and felt that I did not get the results I wanted. I need sharp, clear, true colors for my clients. I use a HP printer and stay with HP ink for best results. If someone came up with a reliable alternative they would definitely have my business. I have found that some of the cheaper papers do work as well as HP paper so I use the ones I can get at the best price and still produce quality prints. Fading does seem to be a problem with most of the inks I have tries so hope they get that one fixed soon.
