a tragic escalation among a group of third graders who were debating whether puppy dogs were cuter than kittens sent three of the young rascals to the principal's office and their beleaguered teacher to an area hospital where she now remains in stable condition.

Luckily, since this is a fictional school wholly separate from the equally fictional judge from yesterday's post these nonexistent 3rd graders are free to not actually scream out "U.S.A.!" while they don't really fight over whether kittens or puppies are cuter.

Well, there exists a chance that sometime I could perhaps think about the probability of tentatively giving you a definate maybe on this subject.

Boy is this a touchy subject. At the risk of sounding completely biased I am going to go with PUPPIES ! [ However, I think kittens are kinda cute too ].

Well, zplan, I'm going to have to vote for the kittens. It's the toilet training thing that will sink the dogs. They are cute, but poop and pee everywhere til you get 'm trained. That's a pain in the butt. Kittens, however, you just show 'em the litter box. But puppies are definitely cute.

Pretty clear who gets the nod from me. Kitties rule. Dogs are fine animals on the farm. But cats bathroom habits make them the clear choice for us city dwellers. My next pet may be an ocelot. In the wild, they find a tree limb overhanging a stream or river to do their business. So it is easy to train them to actually use the toilet and even to flush.

Kittens are the cutest. Come Easter we hide those cute little yellow chickens (peeps) for my son to find and eat, and we hide the kittens for the dog.
