Posted by: bobo-in-texas 2 years, 8 months ago

Singer Sheryl Crow has said a ban on using too much toilet paper should be introduced to help the environment. Crow has suggested using "only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required".

a suggestion is one thing, but a ban??? how exactly would that ban be monitored or enforced?? lol

well anyways, anyone coming up with realistic ideas on how to conserve, it's good! but they have to be realistic, otherwise it just sounds wacky.

This might cause a run on toilet paper.

These celebrities make me sick. They tell us not to drive SUVs yet they fly around in private planes. Does anyone honestly think the Crowster would deny herself any small comfort or indulgence for the sake of the environment. These restrictions they want set up are for us not them.

Crow said:"Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating."

Glad to know where her mind's at.

          ;-)

During the recent White House Correspondents Association Annual Dinner in Washington, D.C., singer Sheryl Crow attempted to explain her sort-of-Green, but paper-thin, "One Square Will Save the Planet's Bottom" concept to Karl Rove. However, it appears Mr. Rove possibly caught a tell-tale warning whiff, that the 'Crow-ing' songbird may have conducted a recent field test of this most un-hygenic concept. With this in mind, it makes it much easier to understand why the White House Chief of Staff made his own public 'stink' about her hand touching him.

As for me, if I am unfortunate enough to personally encounter Ms. Crow in the near future, in an airport or other public place, I will most certainly stay up wind and at arm's length.

Hey Sheryl, howz 'bout this idee? We just use the all them thar corn cobs that are left over from the manufacture of all that ethanol? That oughta 'wipe' our carbon footprint, or at least our tailpipe clean, eh?

                        Hmmmmm...........

Could this be the reason for her recent slump in concert attendance?

While visiting Italy, Egypt, Turkey, and France I found that you had to ask for TP at most restrooms. In Turkey it was very bad. The restroom in one small restaurant had a towel about the size of a dish towel, which you were required to rinse out after using so it would be ready for the next user.
