April 24, 2007, 8:12 a.m.The investigations of Karl Rove's activities are taking on a life of their own, beyond the expected partisan political posturing.
Mr. Bloch, who runs the Office of Special Counsel is a Presidential appointee. Any political interference or pressure on him would simply stir the pot...I think this investigation will be unimpeded, and let's see where it takes us. As Mr. Bloch says, "We will leave no stone unturned."

April 24, 2007, 9:19 a.m.It will indeed be interesting to see where this goes. The Bush Administration has an unprecedented penchant for secrecy, and Rove has a reputation for being able to tar and feather his political opponents without leaving any fingerprints on anything.

April 24, 2007, 2:12 p.m.Thank God. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the missing e-mails in which White House business was conducted don't impede the investigation. Perhaps the investigators should seek an immediate court order to take the RNC servers into custody for the investigation.
