Posted by: TechnologyExpert 2 years, 6 months ago

A U.S. Democratic lawmaker opposed to the Iraq war initiated a bid on Wednesday to remove Vice President Dick Cheney from office that even his own party leaders dismissed as futile. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio introduced three articles of impeachment in the Democratic-led House of Representatives against Cheney.

I told you this on the last article and I will tell you again:

Nobody that matters cares that Dennis Kucinich wants to impeach Cheney, just like they didn't care when he wanted to impeach Bush.

He needs to stop wasting time by grand standing for his Presidential campaign. Kucinich is like Bush, he doesn't listen to what people are saying. And he is misleading the people. If it comes to laying out intelligence on Iraq, the Dems will lose the debate over it. The Dems know this.

This is called jumping the gun. It's not yet Wednesday in Washington, DC! How could a Senator have introduced when it's not that day yet?

He is certainly PLANNING on introducing it Wednesday.

How about you folks try to keep the headlines accurate?

They both should have been imeached long ago. It is good to see a politician who actually says what he thinks, regardless of consequences. Honesty in government is sorely lacking and has been for some time.

It sure would be nice if Democratic lawmakers would worry less about impeaching Republicans and more about lawmaking.

this is from last week. old news. sink.

this is about kucinich merely trying to stay afloat, even if cheney deserves to be impeached (as well as hog-tied, tarred and feathered, etc)

                Guys,

Good idea, but yes futile, too. The reason being; money. Georgie and his buddies, including Cheney have it all.

Cheney deserves the impeachment more than Dubya.

I do not believe Bush is intrinsically bad. His IQ does not provide for better judgment at the time of making decisions.

Cheney on the other hand is a cold, calculating, corrupt intelligent man. He has manipulated Dubya to chaos.

i'd say he should be impeached for lying us into an illegal, pre-emptive and elective war. there's a ton more, but this would do in any sane country with rational citizenry. could anyone be more pathological than cheney? he is an embarrassment.

This thoughtful and measured response is so refreshing at a time when we need to be thinking about the long term needs of the United States and rescuing its promise as an experiment in human governance.

Cheney only cares about his own pocket book and his freind's pocket books. Only a deaf dumb and blind Republican would think Cheney is a stand up guy. I say let him be the first VP to be impeached.

Kucinich needs to get a life, hell, he couldn't even get a date, the guy was running for some office, oh yeah president, that got a lotta traction, and he got a date by being in some sort of lottery game show or something else a couple years ago...anyone remember that?

Bush and Co. need the nation to surround the White House and drag them out of their throne.

Some Democrats and Repubs are wimps. We pay their salary, yet, they don't want to get involved. How about getting rid of the politicians and take the matter into our own hands.

We are being stripped from our dignity, wealth, culture, environment, etc...

Let us prove to the world that we are against the two biggest terrorists running the most powerful country of the world.

The only way that Pelosi could keep the peace is to impeach the clowns, who are worse than Suddam, and negotiate with the world, perhaps, we can profit from each others resources and ideas.

Look at the way he treats his own daughter, remember he is anti-gay so he must cringe around her. But knowing his makeup he shrugs it off to her and acts like its not abhorent behavior in his mind, while he knows it is. By the way does Dickie have any children in Iraq?
