Limbaugh: Cho was a liberal »
Posted by: Aidenag 2 years, 6 months agoOn the April 19 broadcast of The Rush Limbaugh Show , the conservative talk radio host opined about the political views of Seung-hui Cho, the Virginia tech massacre madman. "If this Virginia Tech shooter had an ideology, what do you think it was? " Limbaugh asked. "This guy had to be a liberal."

April 24, 2007, 8:27 a.m.I think Bill Clinton DEFINED Rush to a tee, from the article:
"loud and angry voices in America today whose sole goal seems to be to try to keep some people as paranoid as possible and the rest of us all torn up and upset with each other. They spread hate. They leave the impression that, by their very words, that violence is acceptable."

April 24, 2007, 1:51 p.m.Rush lost all credibility when he said that addicts should be accused, arrested and imprisioned. Why arent you in jail Rush? Because the rules apply to everyone but you. I have a definition for you Rush:
Main Entry: hypÃ;·oÃ;·crite
Pronunciation: 'hi-p&-"krit
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English ypocrite, from Anglo-French, from Late Latin hypocrita, from Greek hypokritEs actor, hypocrite, from hypokrinesthai
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings
You would think Newt, Bush, Rush et all, would know what the definition is. They all have pictures next to he word.
In the first paragraph he used liberal 4 times. He uses the justification that Cho railed against the rich. Cho also railed against hedonism, went on about religion. Things that are perfectly neocon. Rush, Cho was a conservative.

April 24, 2007, 1:50 p.m.I'm a moderate. I think both conservatism and liberalism have positive things to offer our country. My biggest concern is the extremes of the political spectrum seem to be dictating the paths...where's the center?
Limbaugh can repeat some smart things that other people say, but his own words are usually not-too-smart. To even remotely suggest that Cho was motivated by liberalism and thus liberalism is "bad"...how stupid is that? How stupid can people be to listen to that statement and lend it any credence?

April 24, 2007, 9:51 p.m.It is my opinion that Rush Limbaugh is an ass-hole! How can any one take this idiot seriously? To use a tragedy of this nature to push his ratings is just about as low as this fool would go for a buck!

April 25, 2007, 1:52 a.m.Are you saying that calling Cho a liberal is also Limbaugh's way of working "for the improvement of all american citizens"? That saying this statement "is doing god's work"? Would a loving and merciful God really want to say that to the world?
The problem is that we DO listen to the man; then we have to hold him responsible for the harm he has done to the spirit of unity in this country. He is the one that is doing the abusing - we are simply reacting to his ridiculous and deplorable accusations.
You are the one that needs to really listen to the man before you start calling him a saint and wash his feet.
Since he is good in fund raising, he should devote his life to that work and multiply his beneficence many-fold and get off the air. His bombastic comments are truly divisive and reprehensible.

April 25, 2007, 8:53 a.m.It would be just as correct to blame this on consevatives as liberals. This is an ad hoc arguement that has no basis in reality. No one knows why Cho did what he did. To speculate and point fingers at a set of political beliefs is reprehesbile and vile. Limbaugh has the right to free speech but where is the outrage for his idiotic statement?
