Big store stocks fall as gas prices rise »

April 26, 2007, 12:47 a.m.npting more than speculators and hedgers using any excuse they can to raise prices to make a profit.
I've often said that they (the government) should put a couple BGM-109s thorugh the NYMEX offices and the speculators would suddenly discover a conscience and stop hiking prices beyond what market fundamentals dictate. Unfortunately the government only uses force at home against potheads and gun nuts...
