Giuliani warns of 'new 9/11' if Dems win »
Posted by: gatitabonitasen 2 years, 8 months agoMANCHESTER, N.H. -- Rudy Giuliani said if a Democrat is elected president in 2008, America will be at risk for another terrorist attack on the scale of Sept. 11, 2001. But if a Republican is elected, he said, especially if it is him, terrorist attacks can be anticipated and stopped. "If any Republican is elected president -- and I think

April 25, 2007, 10:10 a.m.He may know what he's talking about because he was in on the September 11th mass murder. He knew of the building collapses before they happened. His office prematurely told the BBC of the total collapse of Building 7 twenty-six minutes before it happened. He put the gag order on the police and fireman who were aware that it was an inside job. He ordered the disposal of the WTC steel so it would not be analized for the use of thermite. He may know of the next attack because he will probably be in on it.

April 25, 2007, 10:41 a.m.I really hope this posturing moron gets the nomination in "08 . With him as a contender there's no way the Democrats could lose, right? Hmmmmm...

April 25, 2007, 10:47 a.m.I think his comment sounds suspiciously like fear mongering.
Vote for me or one my pals or you're gonna die.
I got to give it to Rudy, that's a hell of a platform.
What a crock!

April 25, 2007, 10:56 a.m.What a steaming load of crap. As facken points out, 9/11 happened on the Republican watch.
Since then, the administration has increased spying on American citizens but done nothing to improve the security of our chemical and nuclear plants, border security, the food and water supply. They want "Real ID" to track citizens in the country but do nothing to plug the points of entry. The president tried to put anything-goes Dubai in charge of our ports.
Electing Republicans again would be like painting a target on the U.S. map.

April 25, 2007, 12:13 p.m.How dare he accuses democrats of something like this. IT is the republican party who have made America Weak. They have taken a historical budget surplus and turned it into a historical deficit. The National Debt DOUBLED in last 6 years. The quality of life has gone down. Solders are being mistreated after they get back by the medical system. Majority of the American deaths in IRAQ happened from not having proper vehicles that can protect the solders from bombs. We have about 800 of these vehicles that are full proof. They need 7000 of these vehicles. It will cost $8 billion to do that. We have spend half a trillion in IRAQ. Halburton themselves made more than $8 billion in profit. And, we don't have money to protect our solders?Which party truly cares about National Security? The one that made America Stronger by having a balanced budget, reducecd Corporate Welfare or the one who doubled national debt, did little to protect the troops?

April 25, 2007, 12:29 p.m.Rumour has it that the terrorists are very methodical in their planning and take several years to finalize a plan of attack, It did happen on the Republicans watch, I will admit that...and the cole happened on clintons, the wtc first bomb happened on clintons and so on, and it would seem the planning happened on it as well.
Check who is In charge of the walter reed hosp...pretty sure DEM Feinstein oversaw it, and her husbands company is involved with it as well...but that is another scandal.

April 25, 2007, 12:36 p.m.AS for the weak link, why do you think one of the reasons kerry lost, it was because osamma came out with his video/letter whatever it was,a few days before the election basically saying kerry was his man, and it made everyone think about it....hmmmmm?? osamma wants kerry, gee I wonder why....pretty sure I know why, dems are weak on defense...just look how Clinton dismantled the miltary...but hey that was to help out the budget deficit the other person was so proud of, so it was ok I guess.. lol

April 25, 2007, 12:43 p.m.Catstephens, what I don't understand is that in one of your news post you chided the democrats for using the war to get votes but your praising Guiliani who is essentially doing the same thing perhaps even to a worse extent by saying he can prevent an attack on America if he's elected? He couldn't do it for New York, what makes him think he can do it for America?

April 25, 2007, 1:15 p.m.reids latest comments about the war being lost shows the dem are indeed soft on natl security and view troops as political fodder--i think we should be asking hillary ..obama and every other dem whether they agree with harry's position on the war--the despicable schumer et al is spinning this like mad but he meant what he said--the dems are totally invested in our defeat in iraq--a really sad position when whats bad for america is good for the dem party--reid should resign

April 25, 2007, 1:37 p.m.The Dems are NOT soft on national security. They are supporting the troops while NOT supporting the war. In case you haven't been paying attention, THAT is what the majority of the American people are saying.
And yes, the Dems agree with what the majority of Americans want. There is nothing 'sad' about that. What IS sad is the blatant, uncontrolled lying and corruption of the current administration and the Republicans that some folks just either swallow or ignore, looking at the splinter in the Democrats' eye while ignoring the plank in the Republicans' eye.

April 25, 2007, 1:43 p.m.hey bubba maybe clinton should have done something in the 6 or so years he had after the first attack on the wtc, six years, and you blame bush after 9 MONTHS in office....gimme a break...6 yrs versus 9 months.
oh yeah I forgot, he might have written a report on it.
when he wasn't preoccupied dismantling the military, yep he was strong on national security alright.
The dems said we needed more troops, we never sent enuf, we increased them, they said Rumsfeld had to go, he did, they said we had the wrong Generals in there, they were changed, so now it is time to pull out and leave.
And he may say he wants to succeed in Iraq, but in my opinion, the last thing the democrats want is for This administration to succeed.

April 25, 2007, 1:49 p.m.Was that the aspirin factory he blew up? and he WAS trying to do everything he could to divert attention away from Monica.
If they are for the troops but not the war, why don't they just send up the money for the troops, and not have it tied to the largest tax increase the american public has ever seen? If they want to raise taxes, which dems always want to do, since there are always so many social programs needed to pay people who are to lazy to work that they support, fine...raise the taxes seperately , and fund the troops separeately, since they care so much about them.

April 25, 2007, 1:54 p.m.yeah right...12 years of Reagan and Bush SR, they were so anti military, they started the dismantling..you folks will say anything...everyone called Reagan a war monger and so on.....Now him and bush sr tore apart the military.

April 25, 2007, 2:05 p.m.Anyone who truly believes and sides with this nonsensical statement really needs to get the courage of their convictions, buy a gun and kill ever Democratic contender for the White House. After all, that is what Giuliani's saying, if a Democrat is elected the country will be destroyed and we'll all die. So, if you buy this "vote for me or die" line and you love your country your course should be fairly clear.
Of course, you would be completely insane.

April 25, 2007, 2:06 p.m.I am behind 'G' man!! I like his offensive strategy. As I have said before, "pull back and fight this fight in our own backyard!" That seems to be 'Pelosi & Gangs' theory. I just don't get it?? Several terrorist groups applauded her visits to the Middle East. What a gal......

April 25, 2007, 2:13 p.m.I don't want to start/join the usual Democrap/Repugnant flame wars that pollute Nutscape threads. But it does seem that the Democratic/liberal approach to the War on Terror is almost completely defensive. While defense is important, you can't have 100% protection and keep a free and open society. Had Gore won in 2000, we wouldn't have gone into Iraq - but we wouldn't have gone into Afghanistan, either.
BTW - the inaction of both parties on the border issue is a disgrace. And Guiliani seems to be duplicitous on the issue:

April 25, 2007, 2:37 p.m.We are in danger because Rudy's boy George, instead of going after the perps of 9/11, used it as a pretext for an oil grab, and failed miserably.

April 25, 2007, 2:41 p.m.This guy is going down faster than Imus, he'll get a few votes because he and McCain are Shrub clones, they'll probably run together, Wow....In the beginning there was Nixon/Agnew, in 2000/04 there was Shrub/Shotgun..but in the NEW NEW Millenium there is ONLY McCain/Giuliani...sounds like the trailer to a D movie except it's real....

He added: "The Democrats do not understand the full nature and scope of the terrorist war against us."
Giuliani is backing the Neocon Party line against the Democrats he can sign Cheney on as 'his VP' for the next 8 years after Bush leaves the Presidency.
Only Republicans and Neocons can see the next best target nations.
