Thanks for the posting. If our nation weren't currently looking like its circling the drain, I'd be laughing my butt off at the keystone kop routine that keep doing.

John (I'm not under investigation) Doolittle has opened a legal fund for himself and is whining bitterly that he and his wife are being persecuted, "like the Duke LaCrosse Players".

The high comedy of the week was Bush coming out and saying that Alberto's "testimony" had only increased his confidence that he has the right man at the head of Justice.

Given Gonzales' testimony -- 65 "I don't remembers", there can be only two conclusions.

1 -- He recalls all too well, but is smart enough to know that answering truthfully will land him in the slammer.

                2 -- He really doesn't recall.

If it is 2, then how on earth can Gonzales "assure" Congress that nothing improper occurred? After all, his claim is that he doesn't even KNOW what occurred. How absurd. How obvious an admission that Bush himself is the chief architect of all this administration's lies and obfuscation.
