April 28, 2007, 10:45 p.m.Third Parties are complete waste. I don't mind right wing third party. But, people on the left need to vote for the democrats. The stakes are too high to fool around with third parties.
We can not have 8 more years of Republican destruction. Democrats must win. Everything depends on this. The very survival of our constitution, bill of rights, economy depends on democrats winning next election. Evil can not rule for another 8 years.

April 29, 2007, 1:49 a.m.It's an interesting concept, but the first two opinions here prove it will be an uphill fight. Most people will be afraid to split a ticket precisely because of the power of the established parties.
And let's not forget the electoral college. They are expected, but not required, to vote with the popular vote.
Until there is a true popular vote, this can't work.

April 29, 2007, 2:16 a.m.I believe you are wrong, every issue on all articles always end up black and white, you need at least a third party. If a single party can not get a majority then politicians have to start working together to get things done, more of a "give and take" idea rather than"like it or lump it" that you have now.It also allows alot more leeway in political thinking as grey thinking might actualy be best.Right now USA is split and will stay that way as old habits die hard.(I know too many analogies but it is simplistic thinking )
