Has Bush Committed Impeachable Acts? »

Posted by: gatitabonitasen 2 years, 6 months ago

As an attorney I often get asked if I think President Bush has committed any impeachable "high crimes or misdemeanors." The Constitution gives the power to remove the President to the Congress, not the judiciary, so the question is more political than legal. The legalistic language about "high crimes and misdemeanors" and a &quo

Absolutely! Little bush has lied to us for years about a for profit war. War profiteering is illegal and he and his handlers need to go to jail.

The President, George Bush has created nothing deserving this trashy statement. He has maintained an honorable and forthright communication with the Congress and the American people. This pack of lies and inuendo is intended to sully his good name. There is no basis for any conversation on impeachment of this great American president.

If you want to talk impeachment, look at the last President that was impeached in office. He was a criminal and deserved to be impeached.

Based on their character and behavior, his wife (HRC) is attempting to bring Americans an opportunity for a "repeat." That is worth writing about!

We should look at the two precedents, Johnson and Clinton. A Republican House, in each case, impeached them simply because they could. So the bar has been set, and it is very, very low. Get on with it.

The answer is no, he has not committed any impeachable crimes!

President Bush is doing the job which the majority of Americans elected him twice (not once) to do.

If you have any problem with his presidency, you should be blaming those who elected him.

But what problems can you have with this man?

Since he took office, he has been battling terrorism and fighting to keep America safe.

It is baffling that there are some Americans who focus just on his shortcomings and ignore his good accomplishments and enjoy bashing him for fun.

A man should be judged based not only on his short comings but also his good deeds.

Nobody is perfect. President Bush is not perfect.

But so far, he is the best America has.

Please leave him alone to finish his job which he was elected to do.

"President Bush has authorized the use of depleted uranium shells in Iraq, which will create health hazards there for decades to come. He authorized the use of phosphorus bombs against Fallujah, a civilian target. While it's true that phosphorus bombs burn people, their primary purpose is to suck oxygen out of the air so people hiding in buildings suffocate. "Daisy cutter" bombs create a concussion that makes the eye balls and ear drums of people hiding in bunkers explode."

            Aw what a sweatheart!

Should I ask him over for dinner?

Sounds like the kinda person I just Enjoy sitting across the table from..

            NOT!
