May 2, 2007, 11:55 a.m.They forgot to mention ZOTZ! (1962)
He was also hilarious as a janitor trapped in a school fallout shelter endlessly playing polkas with Urkel (Carl finally threatens to shoot them if they don't stop.)
Poston was funny without being mean. Maybe we could get back to that...

May 2, 2007, 1:40 p.m.Have enjoyed him for years.
Not often noted was his great turn in "Becker" not so long ago. He played a man who had lost his ability to speak and was taking it out on his caretaker daughter. Funny and poignent at the same time. He spoke no a word in the whole episode but was never misunderstood.
He is already missed.

May 2, 2007, 4:21 p.m.He always brought a sense of warmth when he was in a scene, his timing was impeccable.
He belongs to an era when situation comedy didn't think loud and vulgar was funny.
