Dobbs Big media hide truth about immigration »

Posted by: gatitabonitasen 2 years, 7 months ago

The Bush administration and the leadership of the Democratic Party are preparing to take another legislative leap at imposing a massive illegal alien amnesty on American citizens. And the mainstream media are complicit in advancing this thinly veiled blanket amnesty. Instead of asking and answering important questions about why our immigration

This has many solid points! Consider the population growth and the influences of the count, when so many are not eligible to vote. It will be like "stacking the deck." Considering the influence of the dems in these states, no wonder they want to give a blanket amnesty. But consider, the tremendous cost for the increased welfare benefits, free medical and social programs (paid by the states!), and the influence on school-programs.

Considering the issues, the more significant issue, raised by Dobbs is the fundamental question, why are the current programs prevented from working. Why do the dems want to prevent the border from being managed and why are we not supporting the current laws more aggressively?

We can anticipate 11 Million new "hits" on the social programs, as soon as the dems can pull this off. It wouldn't suprise me for them to get it done by 2009, so the 2010 census can benefit their efforts to unseat the 2008 Republican President and congress.

This is the wording in the begining of this article.

So how has this become a democrat strategy?

The corrosive effects of illegal immigration (lower wages, higher social services costs, massive ID theft, social breakdown) are due to the fundamental (or should I say Fundamentalist!?) dishonesty of corrupt government and business willing to exploit a modern day class of indentured servants.

I don't care if half of Mexico moves to America, as long as they fill out the paperwork! America could integrate 50 million people, if it were done honestly. But that would not serve the greed of business or the power mongering of politicians.

I'm not even going to address the sick joke that we have a "secure" boarder.

The government's already okayed millions of illegal immigrants and stolen the land of the native Americans and dishonored every single treaty signed.. Why shouldn't they give more blanket amnesty to immigrants.. It's just more of the same.

Look at the 1986 amnesty, you will find that the Feds estimated there were ~ 1 million. When the dust settled that number went over 3 million. The politcos also said in 1986 that the border would be secured & no future amnesties granted

The proposed amnesty plan calls for beneficiaries to pay back taxes. How would incomes earned while using aliases, false or stolen Social Security numbers, or cash be documented? While law-abiding residents are required to document their income, amnesty applicants would inevitably file taxes returns based on their word of honor. The legislation does not specify whether amnesty applicants would be eligible to receive refunds, or qualify for programs like the Earned Income Tax Credit. It is entirely conceivable that we could end up owing the amnestied aliens billions of dollars in refunds and tax benefits

This is the same hogwash that was slopped on America in 1986. Of course, it too was supposed to end illegal immigration and yet here we are years later with the same problem supposedly solved, snowballed to this current mess.

I say we impose a five year moratorium on all new immigration. Bring the army en force to the borders and begin detention of captured non citizens.

For your first offence, we hold them in internment camps for several years and put them to work...for free of course, on our roads and highways in chain gangs.

Second offence could carry steeper penalties such as long term imprisionment. Middle America is sick of foreign moochers, criminals and arrogant Mesican's who demand rights they are not entitled too. Something has to be done if this country is to survive. The liberals continue their move to import a whole new demographic. And much like their inability to call a muslim Killer a "terrorist" They cannot now even say the word "illegal."

It's funny looking at these statements here and by Lou Dobbs.

Detention camps? What are we, Germany 1942? USSR 1936? China?

Force people to leave? Okay, an interesting concept. How does Dobbs propose to remove 12 million people? More importantly, do you really think they're going to sit still and let you take them back?

Make them pay a fine and get in line? That might work if the ICE were on the ball, but as it stands now, they can't even properly process legal alien paperwork properly.

Okay, so then you got rid of the illegals? Oh wait, what about the ones who gave birth here? We can't get rid of them; they are US citizens, per the 14th amendment. So, do you wanna take care of those kids? I think not, seeing as how WONDERFUL this nation takes care of its kids (NCLB).

Face the facts people; amnesty is the only thing left to do. Get these people legalized and unionized so from now on, nobody can use them for a dollar a day. Because, that's what this is really about, isn't it?
