Duly Consider: Obama's Secret Service Detail: An Omen To Assassination? »
Posted by: trnscndr 2 years, 7 months agoThe biggest question one should consider is, whether or not Obama is feared by the establishment. Do they believe he will stop their flow of blood-money? Do they believe he will open Pandora's box on previous assassinations and corruption? Do they believe he will keep his word and shut them down on all fronts? If the answers to these questions l

May 3, 2007, 9:09 p.m.I can tell you one thing for certain.
The thing you describe would surely @#$% off one old American Vet.
Time for a change.
Who stood against the Military Commissions Act in Congress?

May 3, 2007, 9:18 p.m.ANYONE against this administration is fair game. Why would FEMA build 350 relocation camps to house 60 million people? You say what? No way? GOOGLE is a really neat device. It's all there for you to look up.

May 3, 2007, 9:57 p.m.I wouldn't doubt that some of the MIC would like a revolution to happen; lotsa profits for gunsellers and prisons.

May 3, 2007, 11:09 p.m.His head of service was asked to take a meeting in Washington that day and replaced by a floater.
GWB just happened to be in Dallas that day, making lotsa calls to Washington that day, yet he says he was not in the CIA prior to becoming its director. uhm huh!

May 3, 2007, 11:24 p.m.I love Obama, but frankly he may know exactly what he is doing and may be willing to take the bullet for the better good. If he hasn't thought about it, he's crazy.

May 3, 2007, 11:37 p.m.They have a picture of GWB standing in front of the Book Depository that day. Also LBJ's mistress gave a multi-hour interview before her death. She basically said that the Texas oil cartel (Hunt and friends) engineered the assassination because LBJ was one of theirs.

May 3, 2007, 11:39 p.m.Getting them to admit it will never happen. It is just time to reopen the files and dig in full steam. IT IS NOT A CLOSED CASE!

May 3, 2007, 11:43 p.m.I respect your point of fearing revolution. It would be ideal not to have to resort to it. But what do you do when the system no longer punishes criminals? They ARE the criminals.

May 4, 2007, 3:38 a.m.Interesting angle.
When I first heard about a threat to Obama I cringed.
After reading "the Audacity of Hope" I pondered his critics. When I find someone (usually here on netscape) calling him names or degrading him I always ask what has this man done to you? Which of his ideas do you disagree with? Without a single exception, the attackers aren't even vaguely familiar with what Obama has written about his beliefs and have no idea what he stands for. So where does this hatred come from? I don't know. I do know assassination is a sport in this country.

May 4, 2007, 7:34 a.m.I read the story and It sort of bothered me to think that maybe there are already threats against him. In my opinion I think he is a breath of fresh air for the American people. I heard him give an interview on Oprah once and for the first time in a long time I was impressed, first thought was can this guy be for real, second thought was there are alot of people who won't like his ways. The comment about corruption in politics is so right on it's scary, and the people behind the scenes are not beyond doing what they have to so they can maintain control regardless which party wins. I also agree that there are far to many accidents that are unexplainable. AS for a revolution it saddens me to think that more lives have to be lost to fight a battle that has once before been fought, as a young nation many lives were lost in your country to give you your freedom, it is a crime that things have gotten so bad in politics

May 4, 2007, 8:25 a.m.Wasn't Alioto, the mayor of San Francisco several years back, assassinated, too? Far too many promising politicians have been shot, usually liberal ones. Makes you wonder if some people / powerful groups want to prevent anything from ever changing.

May 4, 2007, 8:53 a.m.Everyone needs to take a deep breath here!
Chicago Tribune is reporting:
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the colleague whose concerns set the Secret Service detail in motion, said he thinks the protection is a good idea and that Obama will "learn how to live with the limits" imposed by the presence of agents.
"I love this guy, and I never want to see anything happen to him," Durbin said of Obama.
Reid made a vigorous argument for the detail when the advisory group met."
Do you really think that Senators Durbin and Reid would have made this request because they want him assassinated???
AP is reporting:
According to a senior law enforcement official, the security detail was prompted by general concerns about the safety of a prominent black candidate. Although there was no direct threat to Obama, several factors raised concerns, including some racist chatter on white supremacist Web sites.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the security issue.

May 4, 2007, 9:11 a.m.WOW I can't believe the crazy people on this site. ANY president has a chance of some waco wanting them dead not because they are Black but because each and every one of them have people that hate them. I've heard for the call of Bush's death in many forms just here on this site. There are many sick hate filled people in this world, all you have to do is read posts on this one site to get that.

May 4, 2007, 9:57 a.m.Speculation is Barack (Blessed) Hussein (Imam) Obama is an apostate to Islam!
As we know that is a capital crime to the enemies of civilization
Irony is that Obama and his financiers are apologists and enablers of all enemies of the USA,especially IslamicFacists.
Perhaps as a Cuban Communist killed President Kennedy and a Palistinian killed RFK so perhaps those the liberals so adore for hating everything about the USA should fall victim to their own kind again.
Obama! What a moron.
