This article should be sent to every school district in the country for reading by every teacher. However, The article does not adequately address the problem of teachers in the inner cities who actually fear for their life while in the classroom and going and comming to work. The lack of support from the administrations of these schools promote a just get through the day attitude. We have to have a paradigm shift in our educational philosophy and "No child left behind" is a total failure.
