May 4, 2007, 9:37 p.m.I guess you can't always plead ignorance. Too bad, Miss Thing, you're finally going to be held accountable for your actions. And she thought she could drive for work purposes - what work has she ever done??!! Oh, silly me, she was suing to receive money off her sex tape, thats her working agenda! I'm surprised Mommy & Daddy had the time to show up in court, they always seem too busy to bother themselves with their daughters.

May 5, 2007, 1:04 a.m.Once you're in the system you are screwed, what it comes down to is when you're under parole you have no rights, which is ridiculous because too often the penalty is much worse than the actual so called crime, she's out there trying to enjoy her life, if everyone is going to be condemned to either working 16 hour day jobs or sitting home and watching tv then really what's the point of living in America. The judge needs to take a chill pill, and get a life.

May 5, 2007, 8:45 a.m.People create their own destiny. She made her choice's - drunk driving, driving without a license, lying about it - how difficult was it for her to comprehend all of this. She then falls apart when she has to face the consequences - even bringing in mommy and daddy. Besides, 45 days is nothing. And it will do this princess some good.

May 5, 2007, 10:30 a.m.I'd like to say some REALLY nasty things about what I hope happens to her, but guess doesn't help to wish bad things on the people who you find most awful (-:

May 5, 2007, 10:34 a.m.It is disturbing to read what is happening in Paris Hilton's life for a couple of years now.
Is she following in the foot steps of the late Nicole Smith?
Does she have any close family members to advice her or is she estranged from her family like Nicole Smith was?
I am not her fan, but I am concerned about the state of her mind from all her antics/publicity stunts: from having her sexual activities streamed all over the internet to drunk driving and now she is going to become a jailbird.
Hope somebody will step in and help her. I will hate to hear that she ended up like Nicole Smith did.

May 5, 2007, 11:43 a.m.Her atty said he felt that she had been singled out because of who she is!! She has singled herself out because of who she is, the thinks there are no consequences for her because of who she is. I'm glad, now maybe some of the kids who idolize her will see WHAT she is instead of trying to immulate her.

May 5, 2007, 12:04 p.m.Boy I'm glad not the only one with a poor opinion of Paris Hilton, I will refrain from name calling but will say she sets a very poor example for anyone to admire. I hope that she does get the proper help if her actions are for attention, I think that she has sort of been exploited my the media and lacks the maturity to handle situations.

May 5, 2007, 1:05 p.m.i just wish everyone would just stop buying crap that deals with her, lohan, britney spears, k-fed, or anyone else who acts like they do. And when theses celebrities would start loosing money because no one wants their picture anymore or is buying their cds i guarantee their behavior will change. If it wasn't for us they wouldn't be who they are anyway. just my idea

May 5, 2007, 1:57 p.m.defense attorney states the sentence is "uncalled for", "inappropriate", and "borders on the rediculous".
No its not!!! She violated her probation, period! When you get caught violating it, that means the second chance is over. Others don't bat an eye when a "common" person gets caught and sent to jail...she shouldn't be any different because of her "celebrity status". Martha Stewart spent time in jail, and she is someone that actually contributes something to society unlike Paris Hilton.

May 5, 2007, 3:20 p.m.I think you're right. I think she has had the attitude that she is untouchable and that people should bow to her. Maybe this will take her off the pedistal* she has placed herself on.

May 5, 2007, 3:09 p.m.Awww, poor wittle princess goes to jail. Good. She should have no special treatment, as with any celebrity, the moment they break the law and step into a place of law to face the consequences. If I did what she did I would be sitting in a jail cell probably with a harsher punishment. And I have put my life on the line twice for this country. No special treatment for me. What has she ever done good for America other than flaunting her garbage lifestyle all over the television and the internet? Nada.

May 5, 2007, 3:21 p.m.Paris Hilton should stay in jail permanently. She is threat to society. She uses her car as a weapon. Her bf has used her car to smash other people's trucks. She terrorises poor cows and makes millions of dollars. Other people don't get paid even minimum wage to milk the cows are shove their hands into her ass to inseminate her. Paris get paid millions of dollars. Now the cows, she terrorized, would get some satisfaction.
