US General Predicts More Casualties As Iraq Surge Continues »

The commander of U.S. forces south of Baghdad says more fighting and more casualties are ahead in the coming months, as the U.S. surge of forces is completed and clashes with insurgents increase.

    What a genius! after 4 years and he can predict more casualties. Wow. Who would have guessed. Wish I would have gotten in on that bet before the bookies closed the windows.

    Eventually, I guess, they'll run out of people to kill.

      Well, to turn Iraq into a national prison system, with a guard-to-inmate ratio of 1 to 100, the population of Iraq has to be reduced to 15 million from the current 27 million.

      Of course the guard-to-inmate ratio in the Texas prison system is something like 1 to 13.

      And that doesn't count support staff....
