The first attack targeted a public market about noon northwest of Ramadi, 70 miles west of Baghdad, killing 10 civilians and wounding about 30, police said.

About 15 minutes later, another bomber detonated his vehicle at a nearby police checkpoint, killing five police officers and five bystanders and wounding 10 others, police said.

You will find the weapons are from Iran. Like in drugs, if you really want to stop the drug trade, stop the suppliers. Closing the boarders, mining passes used, sinking enemy patrol boats making runs for the coast, and the like. If that doesn't work, we know where the plants are. Take out a few plants, a pipe line or two and they will stand down. Iran only understands threats. Iran no longer is an adult nation. It's like having a poorly educated child running things. Draw a line in the sand. Follow our rules or we will force you to. I don't think trying to talk to them is worth it. Give them one final warning and then strike.

You Americans are so ignorant. The truth is you are Winning in Iraq. Sure, they can IED you all they want, but they arent even putting a dent in your military force at all. The only battle the insurgents have won is in the halls of your Congress and your media, not on the battlefield. From a Canuck with a backbone (I know its rare), kick a** USA!

I strongly suggest that you read "The Art Of War" by Sun Tsu.

If you truly understand it, it means there are no rules, there are no individuals that are not to be sacrificed! Now, I also suggest you study deeply Robert Greenes "The 33 Strategies Of War" and "The 48 Laws of Power".

Having done this throughly, I conclude that the Bush MisAdministration is bungling the "War". Enough said!!

There are always those who were abused as children by either their parents or friends and consequently they have an inferiority complex that only can be satiated with violence towards another.

Iraq is wrong and only those fools who follow the Leader without a mind to rationalize, will desire our continued meddling into another nations business.

Please provide an intelligent and detailed definition of what it is your regard to be a 'terrorist.'

That should help in understanding whether this simplistic broad brush stroke of yours has any validity.

I can already tell that you don't have clue, but I'd be interested to see how you've come to this conclusion and it begins with your definition and understanding (or lack of it) of the word 'terrorist.'

Talking to yourself I see. Happens to righties quite a bit.

Actually the war may have been over a long time ago if the occupation strategy consisted of a little more then sweeping up flowers and candy off the streets. Bush had NO PLAN for hte occupation, NO PLAN for the peace and it seems his current strategy is to leave it up to the next guy to clean up which seems to be a typical right wing tactic.

This is the time of year to visit the NutHouse in the sand. See the Brave Freedom Fighters slaughter women and children going to market. Watch religious fanatics with a single year of education wire bombs to old cars and destroy anyone who happens to be walking by. A Vacationland still in the 10th Century. Don't miss it!

Thank you toronto114 for hitting us with the objective, cold hard facts. We are ignorant (not everyone) in this nation in spite of all the information we have. Information does not make us smart but how we interpret and apply it does. Sadly, a lot of the information concerning the Iraq war is being used to propagate hatred against some of our political leaders. If information is propagated by someone who is arrogant, biased, and hateful then that information will produce the same thing in us if we let it.

The war in Iraq is being lost only in the minds of some of this nation's people--easily swayed by the political agendas of a biased media. We need objective, untainted perspective interjected with the plethora of subjective information being pumped into our minds from many different sources. I am careful to what and whom I listen to. We all need to be.

The nations of the world and specifically the Middle East complained about our lack of response to Iraq because they are weak and powerless to stop war and genocide. Just like you advocate complaint and inaction over action and responsibility. The Middle East specifically names US nations with defense treaties with the US as tyrants in need of needing regime change to give the power to the people. That is exactly what the US did in Iraq. War and instability since 1979 epitomized the Hussein leadership. Racism, atrocities and genocide were documented to show Iraq as the worst offender for ten years by humanitarian groups. So the US did the wrong thing in Iraq? Instead of sitting and watching the slaughter in Rwanda and Sudan? Which is it?

Iraq, a nation of 24,000,000 with one of the most powerful armies on Earth scattered, industries shattered, leader dead, economy destroyed. Mission accomplished. Next the people were freed, industries rebuilt, economy restored, army rebuilt and government replaced. US, the most powerful nation on Earth, the most powerful industries, the most powerful economy, army firmly entrenched in enemy cities, leader keeping a nation safe from attack, in the most stunning victory with a loss of 3,500. What is the next? You decide. The US declares defeat, surrenders and retreats.
