Iraq War Hampers Kansas Cleanup »
Posted by: Aidenag 2 years, 6 months agoThe rebuilding effort in tornado-ravaged Greensburg, Kansas, likely will be hampered because some much-needed equipment is in Iraq, said that state's governor. Governor Kathleen Sebelius said much of the National Guard equipment usually positioned around the state to respond to emergencies is gone.

May 7, 2007, 2:57 p.m.This can't be happening...really...the right ringers swore this wouldn't happen...they ignore Nature which can wreak just as much havoc as any terrorist and more...seriously they swore this wouldn't happen post-Katrina.

May 8, 2007, 6:51 a.m.I find it reprehensible that the Gov of KS would use the devastation of so many people to give out an obvious political statement. She knows full well that there are sufficient assets in her area to clean up the rubble of the terrible storm. I am glad to see some opposition to her statement.
