Chipmark: Open Source Bookmark Synching »
Posted by: cfinke 2 years, 6 months agoChipmark is an student-run open-source project at the University of Minnesota that lets you store your bookmarks in one place and access them from all of your computers; besides entralized bookmark storage, its features include Firefox and IE extensions, bookmark recommendations, and bookmark sharing.

May 8, 2007, 6:11 p.m.How is it different than the other bookmark syncing extensions or services (foxmark, del.icio.us)? I use both of those - would be interested to hear what I might be missing with this.

May 8, 2007, 11:32 p.m.One difference is the flexibility to arrange your bookmarks using a folder hierarchy as well as via tags/labels... at the same time, and then retrieve them via either method.
