Chipmark: Open Source Bookmark Synching »

Chipmark is an student-run open-source project at the University of Minnesota that lets you store your bookmarks in one place and access them from all of your computers; besides entralized bookmark storage, its features include Firefox and IE extensions, bookmark recommendations, and bookmark sharing.

    I was part of Chipmark's first year, and it's actually how I got into browser extension development. Their latest release includes a development blog and a public API.

      Chipmark is an excellent bookmark manager, everyone should try it out!

          How is it different than the other bookmark syncing extensions or services (foxmark, del.icio.us)? I use both of those - would be interested to hear what I might be missing with this.

            One difference is the flexibility to arrange your bookmarks using a folder hierarchy as well as via tags/labels... at the same time, and then retrieve them via either method.
