The death of the high street video store came closer yesterday with the launch of an online service which allows users to legally download films for as little as 99p.

    Good; RIP to the old video store (who told me that movies I return in the drop - before midnight - are still counted till the next day so they can hit me with a late fee).

      Online movies downloading will finally hammer the last nail on the coffin of the regular offline video stores. Anyone who is engaged in Video store business will be wise to start moving into online movie downloading business to avoid being extinct.

        Funny, they're building a brand new one right down the street from me. Video stores are going to go the way of travel agencies (who really uses those anymore?)
