May 9, 2007, 12:58 p.m.It always amazes me how some people live and breath according to polls, like they were the word of God himself. And this especially so when you realize how one single phrase or word can completely the meaning of the question, and even more when you realize that all polls are readily capable of hitting a targeted audience with no one ever knowing it other that the person/people who actually conducts the poll. Polls are the bane of our political system. You wonder why the person you helped get elected does not do as they once or first indicated? Because the polls changed the wind that controls them.

May 9, 2007, 3:30 p.m.Instead of impeachment why not schedule a special election that would cover the President, vice president and all of congress. Write it into our constitution that this would kick in when the current government approval rating fell below 50%. Impeachment is still way to politically biased.

Dec. 6, 2007, 9:14 p.m.FYI... The Declaration of Independence gives the people the right to over-throw the government as a whole, if they feel that they are not doing what is in the best interest of the American people. Years ago, the Declaration of Independence was voided as a legal document, and is now considered only as a piece of history. Hmmmm... I wonder why the government voided that document?
