Posted by: populist 2 years, 5 months agoPeace will reduce conflicts, violence and extremism. If the leaders of countries promote education and values that emphasize national and international identification, then the conflicts will diminish, in the long run.

Too bad that the Age of Reason is over, now we just have 'information', and all 'information' is equal.

May 13, 2007, 11:48 a.m.Certainly, less hunger and disease would help. Education is one avenue, but I think first that we need to make sure that everyone has clean water and something to eat. Hungry people are angry people. Especially when they see the waste and waist lines of the more affluent. How galling it must be for those starving in Darfur to learn that in the United States we have an epidemic of obesity. Were I to switch places with those people, I know I'd be enraged.
