May 13, 2007, 9:29 p.m."Taliban commander Mullah Dadullah, a one-legged fighter who orchestrated suicide attacks, beheadings and an ethnic massacre, marks a major victory for the U.S. campaign at a time of flagging Afghan support over civilian killings."
Guess he was on his last leg anyway :)

May 13, 2007, 9:48 p.m.The concept of "Ethnic Cleansing" was invented specifically for the Taliban and their like kind. Wipe them all out. Where is Rambo when you really need him?

May 13, 2007, 9:52 p.m.One legged? They should tell more kids in the middle east that you only need one lead to be the leader of massive numbers of terrorists-- maybe they won't think it so tough a job, not one to aspire towards.

May 13, 2007, 10:06 p.m.What ever his name was and no matter how funny his name sounds to Western ears, he was a cunning, loathing, murdering animal full of religious hatred for America. His death is just a trigger for a replacement that is just as dangerous. The war on terror is not going to end if a Democrat is elected, rather, it will only get worse as the terrorist know the democrats are afraid of their own shadow and have no stomach for war.

May 14, 2007, 1:10 a.m.That's fine and all, but does no one understand that whoever gets killed is simply replaced by another. It's a deadly cycle...that's what the film Munich was about, after all.

May 14, 2007, 2:20 a.m.Funny how you, like others, think that it is just futile to kill them off. There is someone else to take their place. So instead of stopping them, what? Look the other way? Ignore the things they do? Will that make them stop? When frogs get wings and not able to bounce their butt on the ground anymore while moving? Maybe then... but only then.
But realize this. While yes they have replacements. Those replacements wont be around for ever. You see one day a Mom is going to wake up over there and secretly teach her children that their Father is crazy. That what he believes in is really crazy. That the only thing that will be their reward is death. For only cowards fight behind walls with a locked closed door. And kills the innocent in the name of god. Drives the sanity out of a person and then sends him out to blow others up in a suicide mission.
So your cycle can not live forever. A mom has to wake up there one day, or they all will die.
