    Yes, well...

Iraq in the most dangerous place on earth for journalists.

Mexico is said to be the next most dangerous.

I don't know where Russia is ranked.

In persecution of journalists, it is well to mention the killing of several journalists in East Timor when East Timor was being invaded and occupied by Indonesia with the support of the U.S.

When the news came of the journalists' slaughter, little was reported in the U.S. and nothing done in response.

Of course, the U.S. may well hold that the murder of several journalists is small compared to the slaughter of hunderds of thousands of people of East Timor, or to the value of the oil we grabbed in exchange for our support of Indonesia.

This story is start on the problem of oppression of the press.

I didn't get to the second or following pages because I got a sign in screen or some such when I tried to go to page two.

    Always very annoying.

Isn't it interesting that it was the right wing bloggers who started calling for the hanging of journalists?

If you lost someone at the World Trade Center, read me here on Netscape.

Why would anyone think that America is a bastion of freedom of the press? How naive is the average American? Well about as naive as it gets. The USA is one of the most stifling in the world as far as freedom of the press is concerned. In America the press buys politicians with mindless books that no person in their right mind would read. This country, the USA is a hypocrite. All one has to do is turn on American television/programming news to see this every day. You see mindless gestures, a finger under the nose, a finger pointing to one's eyes to see that noting gets printed about the cheap spectacle of exactly that and the telephone companies. Read my bio.

The American Civil Liberties Union is a disgrace.

Journalism, what is that? It is just a just a job, business. Read my bio. They are not telling the whole truth about World Trade Center 9/11 is 911 the police emergency telephone number.
